The Prithvi Theatre, a subsidiary of Shri Prithviraj Kapoor Trust & Research Foundation, is a theatre in Mumbai. It was started to promote professional theatre, primarily the Hindi theatre, by providing a well-equipped space for theatre at very reasonable costs, that included all the technical facilities. The venue has performances from Tuesday to Sunday a week through a calendar year with over 600 shows a year with an average of 70% audience attendance.

Prithvi Theatre
There are plays in all major regional languages like Hindi, English, Marathi and Gujarati. The summers see a lot of parents and children at the theatre since this is the time when most of the plays for children are held. And every November, the annual Prithvi Theatre Festival takes place.
