One of the main competitive exams for admission to undergraduate courses in colleges is the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT). This entrance test helps the colleges decide the eligibility of the candidate for undergoing the course in their college. You cannot take this test online.

Scholarship Related to SAT Score

The importance of SAT is not limited to admissions alone. It is useful for getting scholarships in the college you get admission to. In addition to the SAT scores, you also need the GPA scores. The better your SAT score, the higher will be the scholarship you are eligible to. For instance, in Grace College, a SAT score of 1000+ makes you eligible for a scholarship of $3,500 for the year. Parts of SAT

You have Reading and Writing with Math in SAT. The Essay part is optional. It helps when you want to join some of the universities where they give preference for the Essay. The entire test lasts for 3 hours and 50 minutes. The Essay part gets 50 minutes. You have 65 minutes to answer 52 questions in vocabulary and reading in context in the Reading part. In the Writing part, you have 35 minutes to answer 44 questions covering grammar and usage.

The Math section is for 80 minutes that includes 55 minutes with calculator and 25 minutes without calculator. You must answer 58 questions on various topics like algebra and data analysis.
