India’s luxurious Palace on Wheels started its journey in the year 1982. It is being operated by Indian Railways and Rajasthan Tourism. It consists of 13 carriages with 39 deluxe cabins. All the carriages are named according to the princely states of Rajasthan. It provides all the facilities like WI-Fi, TV, attached bathroom, DVD player and telephone.

Palace on Wheels train will make its journey from September to April. It will depart from Delhi on Wednesday at 6:30 P.M from Safdarjung Railway station. It covers the major destinations like Agra, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Sawai Madhopur, Jodhpur, Chittorgarh Fort, Udaipur and Jaisalmer. The total journey will be 7 nights and the train will be back to Delhi on Wednesday at 6 A.M.

Ticket price of Palace on Wheels train will include meals, sightseeing tours, accommodation, cultural performances and entrance fees of monuments. Drinks, service charge, laundry, tips will be additional and not included in the ticket price.
